Our Environmental Pledge 2025-2028

CleanLiving Oy, Linnoitustie 6, 02600 Espoo, Finland. The pledge covers all of our residential and commercial cleaning services in Finland. Company management reviews the targets annually and overall accountability rests with the Managing Director.

A truly clean home or office is healthier and more pleasant. But real cleanliness shouldn’t come at the cost of our planet. Here in Finland, our connection to nature runs deep, to our forests, lakes, and the clean air we cherish. At CleanLiving Oy, we believe in “sisu” and smart responsibility. That’s why we pledge to do our part, making everyday cleanliness sustainable.

Over the next four years, we will take concrete steps to reduce waste and remove harmful chemicals from both your homes and offices. We commit to the scheduled, measurable targets listed below.

1. Our Waste Promise: Less to Landfill, More Common Sense.

1.1 Phase-out of single-use plastics · target 2028. By 2028, we will remove all single-use plastic bottles from our service. We’ll switch to concentrated cleaners in refillable canisters, a simple, effective system that cuts plastic waste dramatically.

1.2 Halving paper use · target 2028. We will reduce our own paper use by 50% by going fully digital with invoices, checklists, and communications. It’s smarter, faster, and saves trees.

1.3 Durable, reusable equipment · target end of 2027. We will equip all our cleaners with durable, reusable cleaning cloths and mop pads by the end of 2027, phasing out disposable wipes for good.

2. Our Chemical Promise: Safe for Your Home and Our Nature.

2.1 20% reduction in harsh chemicals · target end of 2027. By the end of 2027, we will reduce by 20% cleaning products containing harsh or questionable chemicals, choosing instead plant-based, biodegradable options that are tough on dirt but gentle on surfaces and the environment.

2.2 “Green Choices” list for clients · target mid-2027. We will create a clear “Green Choices” list for all our clients by mid-2027, so you will know exactly what we’re using in your spaces, no hidden ingredients, just honesty.

2.3 Whole-team training · ongoing, annually. We will continuously train our entire team annually on using products efficiently and safely, ensuring we get the best results with the smallest environmental impact.

3. Our Service Promise: Practical Steps for Finnish Homes and Offices.

3.1 “Luonto-Clean” option for homes · target early 2027. For residential clients, we will introduce a dedicated “Luonto-Clean” option by early 2027, using only our gentlest, most sustainable methods and products. You can even provide your own bottles for us to refill.

3.2 Waste review for business clients · target latter part of 2026. For office and commercial clients, we will offer a simple waste review in the latter part of 2026 to help improve recycling and reduce waste, supporting your company’s own sustainability goals.

3.3 Route optimisation, fuel −15% · target 2028. We will optimize our driving routes and schedules to reduce our total fuel consumption by 15% by 2028. Less driving means cleaner air for all of us.

Monitoring and reporting

We promise to share our progress openly each year. The annual progress report is published on this page and covers every measurable target listed in this document. The 2025 review was published in March 2026, and the 2026 report will be published in early 2027.
